Lori Hirsch was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She studied art throughout her childhood, with classes at public school as well as private summer courses. Lori went on to study Fine Art at UNM and traveled the Arts and Crafts show circuit with her batik artwork. She continued to enrich her knowledge, taking art classes as she traveled the country.
Most recently, Lori studied painting with Leo Neufeld and Michelle Chrisman at the Harwood Art Center in Albuquerque. Her recent paintings reflect her love of world travel and her love affair with color and her home state. After moving to the revitalized Mountain Road section of Albuquerque’s Downtown/Old Town several years ago, Lori is happy to be a part of the art movement and community thriving in this area.
